Hi, I’m Meg
I am a registered and licensed dietitian who takes a holistic approach to nutritional therapies. I believe in the power of prevention and whole food diets. I strive to serve my community through individual and group consultations regarding health.
At Cartwright & Cline Nutrition, the aim is to help you get to know your own body by understanding your risk factors, warning signs and triggers to determine what affects your health. I like to recommend the use of herbal medicines, dietary improvements, lifestyle changes, stress management techniques, weight management & Biblical meditation.
My primary focus is on gut health, liver function (which includes hormone balance), immunity & stress reduction. Overwhelming research has shown the gut microbiome to be one of the most influential factors that contributes to our health.
My Approach
One of the major problems affecting modern health is over consumption of poor foods which leads to poor nutrition. Nutrients matter, because without them our cells can’t properly use the calories we have consumed. Our cells need nutrition on a daily basis for normal human functions.
Without nutrients we cannot manufacture our most basic cellular enzymes. I want to teach you to eat high nutrient foods containing a range of antioxidants & nutrients so that your body will be better equipped to adapt to the environment, stress & aging. This cannot happen if you eat low nutrient, high calorie foods.
I believe food and nutrition is critically important for health & healing, but cannot be used in isolation to treat a whole person. I bring in movement, biblical meditation, hydration and the power of nature to help my patients in their care.
WHat’s in a name?
The women behind the name. Cartwright & Cline is in memory of my grandmothers who were both amazing christian women.
